The Conservatory and the Municipal School of Dance and Music 'Leandro Martínez Romero' held tomorrow, Thursday, November 19, the day Santa Cecilia, patron saint of music.
To do this, students will participate in the "Musical Itinerary III 'original rhythm activity that fills the various cultural areas of the town.
The performances will start at 17.30, with the choir and clarinet ensemble in the House of Culture Emilio Sáez '.
At 1745 hours, the activity will move to the exhibition hall of the old Society of Jesus, where you can listen to the choir, the orchestra of flutes and a set of guitars.
Then, the musical journey will stage the Cultural Hall of Cajamurcia, where the string orchestra will give a recital.
Finally, the activities scheduled to mark Santa Cecilia will, at 19.00, the stage of the theater Thuillier, with a performance by percussion ensemble and band.
In the current academic year 2015/2016, the caravaqueño conservatory has a total of 879 students;
674 of them are studying at the School of Music and Dance, 187 professional music studios and 18 Suzuki method.
Its offer includes educational workshops Electronic Music, World Dance, Music and Dance Initiation and more than one half of instrumental specialties, as Piano, Guitar, Percussion, Voice, Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, Oboe, Flute and Clarinet , among others.
