The City of Caravaca de la Cruz joins tomorrow, Wednesday, November 25, to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, with the reading of a manifesto in all secondary schools in the municipality.
During the morning session will be held other initiatives such as an awareness campaign in schools and Primary, both the village and the hamlets, with the reading of the story 'The ashen Prince', which promotes equality between boys and girls.
Also during this month of November it has been given among students of 3rd of ESO Workshop "Prevention of Gender Violence in adolescents" by the personnel responsible for CAVI Caravaca.
Care Center for Women Victims of Violence
Specialty Care Center for Women Victims of Domestic Violence has attended this year 80 new clients, of which 58 are Spanish and 22 foreign nationals, as reported by the Councillor for Social Services, Maria Jose Soria.
Throughout 2015, CAVI has led to 29 children Psychological Service for Minors.
CAVI of Caravaca de la Cruz is the pioneering center of Murcia and is now part of the Regional Network of Specialized Care Centers (CAVI), with the municipalities of the Northwest Region and scope.
This service is staffed by a multidisciplinary team consisting of a social worker, a lawyer and a psychologist, who perform individualized and group care to help users overcome the consequences of abuse, providing them with social skills and psychological balance necessary for this.
This service is in the Municipal Center for Employment, Training and Equality, located in Diego Cortés, No. 9, facing the garden of the Cejo.
The opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 8.30 to 14.00, Friday from 10.00 to 12.00 and Monday from 15.30 to 18.30.
