The Governing Board of the City of Caravaca approved in its last regular meeting of Works and Services Plan (POS) for the year 2008 with performances whose total value amounts to 635,334 euros.
The plan envisages the implementation of the following projects:
- Street paving and infrastructure in Theater with a budget of EUR 87,650.54.
Financing: Autonomous Region and Municipality 11706.30 75994.24 euros.

Funding: Ministry of Public Administration 57,000, and City Council Autonomous 19213.66 67648.01 euros.
- Paving and infrastructure in College Street with a total budget of EUR 79,332.57.
Financing: Autonomous Region and Municipality 10595.38 68737.19.
- Renewal of street lighting in the adjacent school and the village of Singla with a total budget of EUR 110,870.61.
Funding: Ministry of Public Administration 45,000, and City Council Autonomous 14807.49 51063.12 euros.
-Staffing and infrastructure improvements in Constitution Street in the hamlet of Barranda with a total budget of EUR 54,756.50.
Financing: Autonomous Region and City Council 7313.9 47443.41 euros.
-Land and improvements Rambla urbanization in the hamlet of El Moral with a budget of EUR 95,638.22.
Financing: Autonomous Region and Municipality 12773.11 82685.11 euros.
"Paving the third leg of the cross street with a budget of 63,227 euros.
Financing: Autonomous Region and Municipality 8444.42 54782.34 euros.
On another issues, the Governing Board gave its approval to the collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism and Consumption and the City to promote consumer protection policies.
Through this agreement, local and regional authorities seek to enhance consumer information it receives to ensure adequate knowledge of society Murcia essential characteristics of products, goods and services as well as the rights and obligations hold as consumers.
The various actions foreseen in the Convention budget will have a 14,724 euros which will be financed by the Ministry of Tourism and Consumer Affairs and the Municipality.
