Youth associations in the municipality wishing to participate in grant program of the City of Caravaca can submit applications until next Monday, November 10.
The Youth Council has allocated a € 18,000 to work with youth groups to undertake initiatives in cultural, social, educational and recreational activities included in an annual program of activities or specific.
The mayor of Youth, Antonia M ª Álvarez, accompanied by technicians of the council, held a meeting at the Youth Center with various presidents and representatives of municipal associations to detail the bases of the call for these grants.
During the conversation the councilman said that the aid is aimed at supporting the activities of youth groups, thus fulfilling the obligation of government to promote free and effective participation of youth in the political, social and economic development.
Thus, the grant may be the following types of activities: socio-cultural programs, entertainment and leisure, activities to promote participation and youth associations, and in general, all projects that are within scope of the Youth Council.
Finally, remember that may be granted subsidies youth associations incorporated under the provisions of existing legislation and registered in the Municipal Register of Public Associations, youth wings of adult duly constituted institutions, youth groups whose members are aged 14 and 30 years promoting subsidized activities and organizations providing youth services incorporated under the laws in force that are irrelevant for profit.
