21 to 28 last October, there was a trip to Germany by a group of students of the IES GINES CHIRINOS PEREZ (Caravaca de la Cruz) accompanied by two teachers.

This trip is a return visit we made last June, also for a week, students of the Institute EUGEN-Bolza-Gymnasium Rottenburg am Neckar, a beautiful town located 50 km from Stuttgart.

In both cases the students have been staying with families / learners who have embraced and integrated the same as normal.

The aim of the exchange was to share experiences and learn the ways of life and study in another country and practicing English and started in basic knowledge of German.

In this sense, we say that the German partners were studying Spanish as an elective, as well as fluent in English.

In terms of activities, shared a few classes at the Institute for two days and also planned a series of trips to see the nearby Tübingen, stunning city noted for having one of the oldest universities in the country, visiting the car museum Mercedes-Benz in Stuttgart, a stroll through the downtown and likewise participated in a workshop production of chocolate.

Finally a visit to the beautiful city of Heidelberg and its castle palace.

You did a dinner at the Institute with all the families of participating students and teachers, where parents prepared traditional dishes.

Has been to admire the exemplary behavior of all students and their integration with their partners and families.

Of Germany have brought back many memories, suitcases packed, but perhaps the most important are: the care, courtesy permanent, exquisite punctuality, care and cleaning of public spaces and the environment, displacement bike and use regular public transport.

The endless hugs and tears in an emotional farewell, asking them to repeat, says it all.

From high school want to continue contributing to these exchanges and in subsequent workshops will prepare English and work on environmental and health education.
