An investment of € 200,000 will enable improvement works in the Public Housing Protection (19/11/2008)
The City Council has given the green light to sign the cooperation agreement between the Institute for Housing and Land in the Region of Murcia and the towns of Abarán, Caravaca de la Cruz, Cartagena, Cehegín, Cieza, La Union and Puerto Molina de Segura ports for the repair of houses of public promotion.
The Consistory caravaqueño receive the amount of 200,000 euros to implement actions to improve part of the 115 houses of public promotion (OPV) that is occupied under a lease.
This agreement, by the confluence of public interest, humanitarian and social, implies a deep involvement of local and regional authorities to end the progressive deterioration of some of these homes.
