More than 150 artisans will participate in the Medieval Market V Caravaca de la Cruz (24/11/2008)

In this fifth edition, the market will involve around 150 artisans from all over Spain and several foreign countries who completed a careful show of crafts and products characteristic of the Middle Ages.

Likewise, the craftsmen carried out various demonstrations of their work, several of these activities may be directly involved visitors, especially younger ones: construction of flutes, forge, forge, juggling and makeup, mud, reproduction of fossil espartero, braids , leather, wood draft, massage, silk, jewelry, stone carving, pottery, glass making, metal smelting and coachbuilder.

The children's corner will open the three days continuously and have four points of enjoyment and games for children: one in the Plaza del Arco, another in the Calle Mayor, one on College Street (behind the Parish Church of El Salvador) and other in the ascent to the Halls of Castillo de la Cruz.

Children can enjoy archery, medieval boat, bowling, stilts, the makeup workshop, bouncy castle, the art paint shop, the fairy storytelling, children's bakery, pottery workshop, learn to make flutes and visit a unique exotic animal farm.

Following the pattern of last year, will offer a food tasting in the style typical of medieval area.

Anyone who wants to taste the specialties should pick up a ticket, working with 2 euros for a good cause.

On Sunday, December 7, will be held in the Plaza de Toros for the second year a Medieval tournament in which knights and squires and competitions recreate the struggles typical of the Middle Ages.
