Local Police Officers and Civil Guard today attended a course on Child Abuse from the field of security bodies and forces to address protection systems and resolve situations of risk and abuse.
The director general of Family and Children, Laura Munoz, the council of Public Safety, Amador Lopez, and Family Councillor, Carmen Ruiz, have been responsible for opening the workshop in the Casa de la Cruz.
At present it has not been an increase in this type of abuse, however, as explained Laura Muñoz, is necessary to establish specific guidelines for action regarding the identification, reporting and intervention in a case of child abuse various professional fields who carry out their work in contact with the child and family.
For this, the autonomous region has developed this program directed attention to child abuse to the health, judicial, police, education and social services to prevent child abuse and adolescent in the region.
