Caravaca City Council has completed an improvement project in the Municipal Cemetery with performances of paving and building walls and niches.
Councilman Works and Services, Juan Pedro Sánchez, explained that recently completed improvement works hard on rolling roads and areas, as well as the installation of a retaining wall stones based precast concrete.
This action, which has had a budget of 50,000 euros, was financed by the City and the Autonomous Region under the Basic Municipal Infrastructure Plan for economic revitalization and consolidation of employment.
"Previously to this action, carried out the construction of 88 niches with a budget of 40,000 euros, financed by the State Fund," added the mayor in charge of the municipal area of work.
In addition to this project in the Municipal Cemetery, within that Basic Municipal Infrastructure Plan referred to other major projects in both urban and in the hamlets.
These projects include improving accessibility at the Museum of Ethnic Music Barranda, the development of a new road in the village of Pinilla; road management in Aranjuez Caneja Avenue, the renovation of public lighting in streets and works Barranda improvement in Constitution Square in Archivel.
