The Public School Cervantes will next year with a new classroom building for the kindergarten students.
The building, whose works are well advanced, will be equipped with nine classrooms and other rooms for special activities and staff, as has been outlined today the mayor, Domingo Aranda, during a visit of works carried out along the Councillor for Education, John Pedro Sanchez, and the center's director, Jacinto Molina.
The school expansion project Cervantes is funded by the Autonomous Community and the City with 1,410,000 euros.
The company currently caravaqueña Sánchez Soler & Builder SL has undertaken 70% of all activities planned so this new space will be operational next academic year.
The building is being built on a municipal plot aimed at public facilities over three thousand square meters.
The building, designed in a module of a U-shaped plan open house nine classrooms, offices, meeting room for teachers, store, lobby and common area.
Both the building and common areas have been designed to be accessible to persons with disabilities.

Cervantes currently has a total of 635 students, of which 200 are studying early childhood education, and with 49 teachers.
