The City of Caravaca de la Cruz has scheduled an open house to present the archaeological remains of the head, which is currently undergoing site suitability and value as part of a program developed by the local Job Center and Municipal Archaeological Museum of La Soledad in collaboration with the Regional Employment and Training.
The Jordanian Open, which takes place this Saturday, May 29, from 10.00 to 14.00, will approach the work still in progress for an Archaeological Park, where he proceeds to the restoration of ancient architectural elements and construction of infrastructure for cultural use, and to describe the first results which have led the excavations and archaeological research there.
The general director of the Regional Employment Service and Training, Ginés Martínez, who has visited the site this morning, stressed that through this employment program has done a great job on restoration of heritage and at the same time, have created ten jobs.
Councilman Job, Salvador Gomez, said that the City wanted this project to promote employment and to value an emblematic place with lots of history, very close to the source of The Tosquilla Barranda, thus seeking a new tourist attraction for this area of the town of Caravaca.
The project undertaken in the flower head, besides giving employment to ten people for nine months and promote recovery of Cultural Heritage, raises the revitalization of rural areas, including the hamlets of Caravaca de la Cruz, by exploitation of their resources to boost development social and work sustainably.
The archaeological site of La Cabezuela is located atop a small hill next to the fountain of The Tosquilla.
