The Women's Center, located on the street next to the garden Pedro Campos of El Cejo, will run to early next year.
The director of the Institute for Women in the Region of Murcia, Teresa Moreno, accompanied by the Councillor for Women, Carmen Ruiz, visited the works being carried out with a budget of 640.00 euros.
In this new building will be located various municipal services related to the Department of Women as those provided by the Care Center Women Victims of Domestic Violence, the Local Employment Center or the Agency for Equal Opportunities.
Also, women's associations formed in the town have adequate space to hold meetings, leisure activities and training courses.
The project also includes an auditorium with capacity for 75 people.
Teresa Moreno presented, along with council members and Carmen Gómez Ruiz Salvador, the diplomas to the 150 people who have participated in training courses held in recent months in the municipality.
These courses, most included in the Plan of Training Institute for Women in the Region of Murcia, have been related to equal education, new technologies, care of dependent people or the prevention of gender violence .
