The mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Moreno, has carried out a partial restructuring of the competences of the members of the Government team.
The modification of the generic delegations conferred to the councilors has been made by resolution of the Mayor's Office, in accordance with the Regulation of Organization, Operation and Legal System of the Local Corporations.
The new distribution of responsibilities is motivated by the departure of the Municipal Corporation, due to personal reasons, from the former mayor Julia Giménez, who until last April directed the Employment and Finance areas, and the entry, as a member of the Group of Municipal Socialist, of the councilman Jesus Sanchez, that took possession recently in a Plenary of extraordinary character.
The new councilman Jesus Sanchez Garcia will lead the Public Services, Health and Pedanías areas and also becomes part of the Local Government Board.
For his part, Antonio Donate Navarro assumes the competencies in Employment and Industry.
Enrique Fuentes Blanc maintains the delegations in Urban Planning, Works, Agriculture, Livestock and Environment and María José Soria Martínez those in Social Services, Women, Human Resources and Sports.
The area of Hacienda del Consistorio will be coordinated directly by the mayor, José Moreno Medina.
The resolution of the Mayor's Office also resolves to appoint Gloria Gómez Sánchez as third deputy mayor.
The delegations do not vary in favor of Esther Poveda Marín (Education and Youth), Gloria Gómez Sánchez (Tourism, Commerce, Consumerism and Crafts, Transparency and Citizen Participation), Pedro Antonio Muñoz López (Security, Traffic and Emergencies) and Óscar Martínez García ( Culture and Celebrations).
