The public school Cervantes participates in the project 'Embarka', with which the entrepreneurial culture is encouraged from an early age.
About one hundred students, three courses of 4th and one year of 6th grade, have created and managed mini-businesses in the classroom in the form of a cooperative.
The objective has been to work on values and competences such as creativity, teamwork, the common good or responsibility.
The students, along with their teachers, have been received by the mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Moreno, to share the experience lived within the Embarka 'program, understood as a continuation of the educational project "Entrepreneurship in my school" (EME) , that during the last nine years has brought the values of entrepreneurship to centers in the Region of Murcia.
Schoolchildren have also requested, through an instance in the General Register of the City Council, permission to install points of sale coinciding with the weekly market on Monday, June 11.
The benefit of sales will go to different NGOs supporting children, linked to Caravaca de la Cruz.
