The Union of Small Farmers and Cattle Ranchers (UPA) collaborates in the qualification of the 20 student-workers of the mixed employment and training program for the adaptation and enhancement of the Fuentes del Marqués and other public spaces of the municipality of Caravaca de la Cruz .
The councilors of Employment and Environment in the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, Antonio Donate and Enrique Fuentes, respectively, along with the regional secretary of UPA, Antonio Moreno, visited this program, consisting of two specialties of ten students each, where currently the course of 'Professional user of phytosanitary products' is taught, with which you will obtain the card that accredits the appropriate knowledge to exercise this activity.
In addition, this course addresses safety, quality and health measures in agricultural operations, as well as good environmental practices.
The mixed program of employment and training for cleaning specialties public spaces and auxiliary operations in nurseries and gardens has a total budget of 326,969 euros, of which 313,095 euros are subsidized by the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF) and the European Social Fund (ESF) and the remaining 13,813 are provided by the City of Caravaca.
