The mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Moreno, and the councilor of Sports in the Caravaqueño Consistory, María José Soria, have held a meeting with the representatives of the three football clubs that are currently in the municipality, who have transferred the agreement to compete under a unified structure starting next season.
While all the details of the unification will be announced later in a public presentation, the three clubs (Peña Madridista, Caravaca Sports Association and Caravaca City Club-Paco Cuco Soccer School) will be merged with the same coat of arms and the name of Sports Union Caravaca de la Cruz.
There will be more than one hundred players who become part of this unique structure, divided into two cadet teams, two junior and one senior.
The president will be Juan Flores Molina and sports director Paco 'Cuco'.
Both the mayor and the mayor who directs the Sports area have valued this news very positively, since, after several attempts and a long time of negotiation, an agreement has been reached that will allow the different football clubs and associations from the town join forces and work on the same project in favor of the training of young people and the promotion of sports.
This unification will also favor a better use and distribution of municipal sports facilities.
