The four employment and training projects have a budget of more than 500,000 euros
About thirty people have joined the various employment programs launched by the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, through its Department of Employment.
The mayor, José Moreno, and the director of the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF), Alejandro Zamora, have visited the mixed employment and training program to adapt and enhance the location of the Fuentes del Marqués and other public spaces , in which 20 student-workers participate, plus the teaching and administrative staff.
This program, composed of two specialties, will work until March next year in the conditioning and maintenance of facilities, green areas and streets.
In addition, they are also starting the municipal nursery, located in the area of ​​the Fountains, in order to provide flowers parks and gardens of the municipality.
The mayor said that these programs achieve several objectives, among which the formation and occupation of people in unemployment situation and the embellishment of the municipality.
For his part, the director of the SEF has reminded that student-workers will receive at the end of this training project the maximum certificate of professionalism, which will improve the opportunities for incorporation into the labor market.
The mixed program of employment and training for the adaptation and enhancement of the site of the sources of the Marquis has a total budget of 326,969 euros, of which 313,095 euros are subsidized by the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF) and the European Social Fund (ESF) and the remaining 13,813 are provided by the City of Caravaca.
In addition, there are three other employment programs underway.
One of them is the adaptation and embellishment of urban elements, for which three people from the painting specialty have been hired, who will focus on repairing banks and other furniture, for six months.
This project is financed with 61,575 euros;
22,084 euros are municipal contribution and 39,490 come from the SEF and the ESF.
The performance of repair and improvement actions in the network of museums in Caravaca de la Cruz is the objective of another of the employment programs.
In this case, it has a budget of 74,510 euros, of which 52,135 are financed by the SEF and ESF and 22,374 euros from the City of Caravaca de la Cruz.
Its duration is six months.
Finally, another person has also been hired for nine months, in this case through a public employment program for long-term unemployed, intended for care work and tourism information in the Municipal Tourism Office, with a budget of 14,450 euros.
