The City of Caravaca de la Cruz offers summer holiday schools to facilitate the reconciliation of work and family life and encourage creativity, fun and education in values ​​during the school holiday period.
The Department of Youth has scheduled for the summer period schools both in the urban area and in the districts of La Encarnación, Barranda and Archivel.
All of them will be directed by qualified leisure and free time instructors, who will be responsible for developing a varied program of activities, such as games, crafts, pool sessions and excursions to places of interest.
The summer holiday school scheduled in the city center will be based at the facilities of the Caravaca Sports Center and will be offered from June 25 to September 7, and may formalize enrollment for the period of time desired by parents, either monthly , biweekly, weekly or single days.
Following the model of its three previous editions, it will have an integration component, since it is adapted to the participation of children with disabilities.
The councils of Youth and Social Services will also receive tuition for minors from families with socioeconomic difficulties, also having access to a daily dining service.
The Summer School of Barranda is being held from June 25 to July 6, with a bilingual character, taught by the Association 'Barranda Joven'.
For its part, the Archivel school will run from July 2 to July 31, in charge of the association for the Attention to Diversity 'Adinor', and that of La Encarnación from July 1 to 31, given by María Ángeles Ibernón Valero .
