'Cotidiano en el tiempo' is the title of the new exhibition that the Department of Culture of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz has opened in the House of Culture 'Emilio Sáez'.
It consists of a collection of pictorial works executed by Rafael Terrés, which can be visited until September 28, from Monday to Friday, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The councilman of Culture in the City council of Caravaca, Óscar Martínez, that attended the opening next to the artist, informed that this exhibition arrives at locality through the Plan of Expository Spaces, promoted by the Institute of the Cultural Industries and the Arts ( ICA) of the Region of Murcia, with which the Caravaqueño Consistory collaborates to show the work of contemporary Murcian artists.
Rafael Terrés takes a tour of objects, motifs and landscapes that surround him.
After a stage focused on oil, watercolor and wax, has given way to the realization of the work with the technique of acrylic on wood, using the spatula to soften the elements and landscapes represented.
This self-taught painter was born in Barcelona, but has family origins in Murcia, specifically in Baños de Fortuna, where he resides and takes the main inspiration for his artistic production.
"Motivations of light and color illuminate the moment of daydreaming, of the near, of the everyday, of the intimate, landscapes and elements flooded with nuances and pictorial desires describe my career", detailed Rafael Terrés.
