Red Cross has held today in Caravaca the information campaign to mark the 'World First Aid Day', whose theme this year is focused on motor vehicle accidents.
Another goal of the volunteers of the local delegation has been to make known the Ariadna mobile application, launched in collaboration with the Spanish Society of Cardiology and the Spanish Heart Foundation to geolocate the closest defibrillator thanks to a collaborative map.
Until the stand located in Plaza de Tuzla have moved the Councilor for Health, Jesus Sanchez, along with the spokesman of the Government team, Enrique Fuentes, to encourage the Red Cross to continue with the work of public awareness and training courses that come developing in the locality.
From the Red Cross they emphasize that first aid techniques must be accessible to all as a fundamental act of humanity that allows people to save lives and help recover from a sudden illness or injury.
Having knowledge in this area improves the ability of an individual to make quick decisions, reduce or stabilize serious injuries and improve the chances of survival in the face of an accident.
The Red Cross training courses in Caravaca will continue in the fall with a defibrillator management course.
