José Moreno has met on several occasions with the residents of El Llano and the Arcos del Castillo Foundation, which has contracted the hotel to house immigrant minors who arrived in small boats.

The Mayor of Caravaca has sent a letter to Juan Soria Martínez, Manager of the Consortium of the Greenways of the Region of Murcia to request an urgent convocation of the mentioned consortium.

After having recorded since last April, the accommodation of a group of minors, protected by the Autonomous Community, within the care program, known technically as MENAS (Unaccompanied Foreign Minors), managed by the 'Arcos Foundation del Castillo 'at the El Llano hotel in this city;

the neighbors of the urbanization, where the aforementioned establishment is located, have moved their concern and uncertainty due to the lack of information about the non-tourist use that is being provided in the aforementioned hotel, dependent on the Consortium of the Greenways of the Region of Murcia.

According to José Moreno, so far the City of Caravaca de la Cruz has not received notification or official information in this regard, neither by the aforementioned consortium, which are part, or the Family and Equal Opportunities Council of the Community Autonomous, through its General Directorate of Social Policy, which is the competent body to provide protection, for legal and humanitarian reasons, to these minors.

The only information received has been through the representatives of the 'Arcos del Castillo' Foundation with which several meetings have been held.

For this reason, the Mayor of Caravaca has requested the urgent convocation of the Governing Board of the Consortium of the Greenways of the Region of Murcia, due to the alarm created among the neighbors for the possible overcrowding of the establishment that welcomes minors, Arrived from North Africa.

The manager of the aforementioned consortium, Juan Soria (spokesperson for the PP in Moratalla town hall), was also asked to report on the conditions under which the contract was signed between the concession company that manages Hotel El Llano and the Foundation. 'Arcos del Castillo', the duration of the same, as well as the conditions of the aforementioned contract and who authorized it.
