The Caravaca de la Cruz Fair is held from October 11 to 14, with the 'Exhibition and Sale of Agricultural and Automotive Machinery', the 'Fair of the Seguran Sheep and Extensive Livestock', the Market of Antiques, Collecting and Second Hand and the 'Power Pop' music festival.
The event, promoted by the City of Caravaca de la Cruz with the collaboration of various associations and public bodies, will also have a gastronomic tasting area and the 4th Grand Prize 'Karting'.
The Councilor for Tourism, Trade and Crafts, Gloria Gomez, and the Councilor for Livestock and Environment, Enrique Fuentes, have announced, along with the president of the Association of Merchants and Caravaca Innkeepers, María Ángeles Muñoz, and representatives of the Jubiloso and Pura Sangre clubs, the activities for all audiences that are part of the fifth edition of the Caravaca de la Cruz Fair, which this year adds one more day to the program for the Pilar Day holiday.
The events will begin on Thursday, October 11, at 7:00 p.m., with the inauguration of the fair in Gran Vía and Avenida de La Constitución, where there will be a score of exhibitors of automotive and agricultural machinery.
At 20.00, the round table 'Problems of sheep meat and extensive livestock support' will be held at the headquarters of the Ceyt Abuceyt cave, where this year all the activities of the 'Seguranian Sheep Fair' will take place. of the Extensive Livestock ', as well as in the tent that will be installed outside, in Pedro Campos street.
Next, at 9:00 p.m., in the gastronomic zone (next to Plaza Paco Pim) there will be a wine of honor by the Protected Designation of Origin (DOP) Bullas.
On Friday, October 12, from 12.30 pm, will open the 'Day Fair' in the gastronomic area, with the musical performance of 'A-Corde Flamenco'.
It will be organized by the Association of Merchants and Innkeepers of Caravaca de la Cruz, with the participation of 15 establishments and brands, located next to Plaza Paco Pim.
At 7:00 pm, at the Ceyt Abuceyt refuge, the conference 'Las cabañuelas and other beliefs about the influence of the moon on agriculture and livestock' will be held, followed by an introductory talk on wine tasting by Bodegas Carreño (DOP Bullas).
On Saturday, October 13, from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., it will remain open to the public on the Paseo de la Corredera, the Antiques, Collectibles and Second Hand Market, which this year will be inaugurating its decoration.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the III 'Segureño Sheep and Extensive Cattle Fair' will be open to the public, in Pedro Campos street and in the Ceyt Abuceyt refuge, enlivened with the traditional music of the Animeros de Caravaca and with the celebration of the Plates Contest of Cordero Segureño.
At 12.30, the Day Fair will return, next to Paco Pim Square, with gastronomic tastings and live music, a space that will also open its doors on Sunday, October 14.
One of the novelties of the Caravaca de la Cruz Fair is the avenue celebration of the Constitution of the 4th Grand Prix 'Karting', promoted by the 'Jubiloso' and 'Pura Sangre' fan clubs, with the collaboration of the Caravaca City Council the cross.
In addition to the championship, the karting circuit will be open to the public, with vehicles for all ages, from 12.30 to 20.30 during Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 12, 14 and 14 October.

The concerts will take place in the Garden City, with the rest of the cultural events being extended to the José Carrilero square and museum and the 'La Nota' pub.
