When it is one year since the implementation of the mobile application (APP) 'Cuida Caravaca', the Councilor for Public Services, Jesús Sánchez, has assessed the operation of the same and has encouraged citizens to make use of this Free tool to communicate with the City Council.
As it is reflected in the statistics presented, through this system a total of 914 incidents have been registered, of which 759 have been resolved and 155 are pending, representing a resolution percentage of 83%.
Among the most frequent types of communications, there are road damages (315), street cleaning (159), signs and traffic lights (85) and street lighting (58), among others.
The APP now has a total of 214 downloads.
The mayor Jesus Sanchez explained that the City continues to work to introduce improvements in the operation of the application and reduce, as far as possible, the resolution deadlines, while thanking the collaboration and understanding of citizens in this first year of operation.
"It is a way of communicating easily and intuitively, it is immediate because it is done from the mobile phone itself, it is direct because it reaches the people responsible for its resolution and, in addition, it is useful for the City Council itself as a tool for work and analysis ", he pointed out.
The 'Cuida Caravaca' APP allows citizens to directly communicate any type of damage through geolocation, including photographs and comments, and following up on incident management.
The objective is to promote citizen participation and offer from the local administration a response as quickly and effectively as possible to the problems that may arise.
"A municipal technician is in charge of its coordination, receiving the different types of communications and distributing them to those responsible for each area for resolution," said the mayor.
