'Tapas in Caravaca' is celebrated from 9 to 23 November, on Fridays, Saturdays and midday on Sunday, in twenty local catering establishments.
The people who participate in this gastronomic route will be able to taste tapa and drink at the price of two and a half euros and opt for the raffle of numerous prizes.
The activity is organized by the Association of Merchants and Innkeepers of Caravaca de la Cruz (ACHC), with the collaboration of the Caravaca de la Cruz City Council and the support of Estrella Levante, Agua de Cantalar, Las Reñas, Cola-Cola and JM Carrasco .
In the adhered premises you will be able to find the ruteros, where all the tapas, desserts and cocktails that are part of this fifth edition appear.
In the presentation of the event, the Councilor for Tourism and Trade, Gloria Gomez, wanted to "encourage caravaqueños and visitors to taste the elaborate proposals prepared by the hoteliers and to enjoy during the next three weekends the magnificent cuisine of our land "
"This is an event that is consolidated and that year after year wins in quality and public," added the council.
From the Association of Merchants and Innkeepers also wanted to make an appeal for participation, while thanked the involvement and effort of bars, restaurants, cafes and pubs to present each year careful and innovative dishes.
One more edition, the ambassador of the gastronomic route 'De Tapas in Caravaca' is the renowned chef and owner of the restaurant 'El Olivar', Firo Vazquez, who noted that "initiatives like this value gastronomy as a cultural, social and of union among the peoples ".
The people who participate in 'De Tapas en Caravaca' will assess the gastronomic proposals and opt for different prizes, sealing the booklet in the establishments.
The first prize will consist of 500 euros to consume in shops of the Association of Merchants and Innkeepers and a dinner at 'El Olivar';
There will also be five other prizes consisting of trips to spas and rural lodgings, accompanied by lots of products from the various sponsors.
As has happened in previous editions, the user of the social network Twitter that gets the most number of "retuits", with the hashtag #DeTapasEnCaravaca and photo of the tapa or cocktail, will receive a batch of Estrella Levante products.
