The City of Caravaca de la Cruz has published the regulatory bases and the call for financial aid included in the Business Development and Employment Plan for the year 2018. The application deadline to opt for them ends on November 30.
"The subsidies included in the third Business Development and Employment Plan are a firm and concrete commitment to support entrepreneurs and businesses in our municipality, with the common objective of boosting the business fabric as a source of job creation and economic development", according to noted the Councilor for Employment, Antonio Donate, who has reported the details of this third call together with the technician responsible for the area, Visitación Espallardo.
This year there are two types of financial aid: those designed to support the development of actions and expenses necessary for the start and operation of a business project and those aimed at encouraging the hiring of unemployed people.
The Department of Employment allocates a maximum of 79,000 euros to this third call for grants.
The aid for start-up and operation costs of a business project is aimed at unemployed people in general (1,000 euros) and unemployed people under 30 years of age, over 45 years old, disabled or victims of gender violence (1,300 euros).
Likewise, grants of up to 1,300 euros are included for people who have participated in public employment programs and plans and for those companies that, even if they are already incorporated, expand or diversify their activity, provided that it is in a different domicile and that at least supposes the hiring a person.
The second aid line focuses on encouraging the hiring of workers and is aimed at companies located in the municipality of Caravaca de la Cruz, which hire indefinitely people registered in employment offices.
These grants are up to 1,000 euros for expenses derived from hiring during the first six months and are granted to a maximum of four workers per company.
Among the requirements for the plaintiffs of these two lines of aid is that the business activity begins from January 1 and until November 30, that companies that hire unemployed people are located in the municipality and have hired workers before to submit the application, among other requirements reflected in the regulatory bases.
The information related to the necessary documentation to qualify for these grants can be found in the caravaca.org municipal web portal and the instances are presented through the electronic administration platform (https://caravaca.sedipualba.es) or in the Registry General of the City Council.
