About 200 artisans from numerous points of the Spanish geography and more than ten groups of animation will be part of the fifteenth edition of the Medieval Market of Caravaca de la Cruz, whose programming has been presented by the Councilor for Tourism and Crafts in the Caravaqueño Consistory, Gloria Gómez, accompanied by representatives of the association of artisans 'ArtAndante'.
During the days 6, 7, 8 and 9 December, coinciding with the Constitution Bridge, Caravaca will return to its medieval past with this event that manages to gather thousands of people each year and that takes place in part of its historic center, promoted by the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz.
Throughout four days there will be musical and theatrical shows, handicraft demonstrations, demonstration workshops of traditional crafts and numerous itinerant activities aimed at all audiences.
The present edition is accompanied by several novelties, such as the 'Medieval Camp' of the Santa Clara promenade, where historical re-enactments will take place, or the Museum of Torture, which will be located in the cloister of the former Convent of the Carmelite Mothers of the street Higher.
Another attraction of the market will be the flight exhibitions of birds of prey 'Águilas del sol', which will be held at 13.30 and 17.30 hours on Rafael Tejeo street, next to an exhibition of reptiles, parrots and farm animals and educational talks about the environment
The Great Medieval Tournament will arrive at the Plaza de Toros on Saturday, December 8, at 5:00 pm, at the hands of 'Legend Specialists'.
The best knights of the Kingdom will fight to take control of 'Excalibur'.

But the XV Medieval Market will open its doors two days before.
Specifically, on Thursday, December 6, with the inaugural parade, which will start at 11.30 am from Plaza Paco Pim, entertained by various musical groups and entertainment, to finish at the Plaza del Arco with the traditional opening speech.
The XV Medieval Market of Caravaca de la Cruz will be open to the public uninterrupted from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The Municipal Tourist Office of Las Monjas Street and the Tourist Information Point of the Plaza del Arco will provide their services on 6, 7 and 8 December, from 10 am to 2 pm and from 4:30 pm to 8 pm (Sunday, 9 December, the Municipal Tourist Office will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.).
