The City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, the Community of Users of Cañada Lentisco and the concessionaire company of the Aqualia municipal water service have signed a collaboration agreement that will modernize and expand the drinking water supply network located in that area of Caravaca.
The Community of Users of Cañada Lentisco is currently made up of 72 neighbors, who up to now maintained the ownership of the water infrastructure.
The mayor, José Moreno, and the Councilor for Public Services, Jesús Sánchez, explained that this agreement is very positive for all parties, since it was a very old network and with the planned work the supply conditions will be improved, together with a municipalization of the network, so that the neighbors are freed from its maintenance and the adequate sanitary conditions are guaranteed.
The works will affect four thousand linear meters, with more than 70 connections and installation of individual meters.
