Chilean classical guitarist Ramón Vergara S. will premiere the quintet for guitar and strings 'Baladas para el Decamerón Negro', by Cuban composer Leo Brouwer, at the church of San José de Caravaca de la Cruz.
The concert is organized by the Department of Culture of the Caravaqueño Consistory and will take place on Saturday, January 19, at 8:00 pm, with free admission.
"This concert is a milestone for the guitar in the Region of Murcia, I am very happy to release this great work by Leo Brouwer, in the framework of the worldwide activities for the 80th anniversary of this Cuban master, an international legend of the guitar and one of the most important living composers ", said Vergara, who for this concert will have the special collaboration of outstanding promises of the ropes of the Region of Murcia: Ana Morenilla and María Fernández on violin, Enrique Ortega on viola and Clara Bull in cello.
The guitarist Ramón Vergara has announced that "it will be an evening of premieres, because, in addition, I will interpret the work composed by my father, Ramón Vergara Leiva, the suite" Estampas de Caravaca ", in honor of the city of the cross, inspired by its landscapes, parties and people, after his recent visit, I will also premiere the work "Albanian dance", by the Albanian composer Redi Marku '.
Ramón Vergara Silva has a degree in Art, with a mention in Classical Guitar from the University of Chile.
He has been recognized and awarded several times, highlighting the first place in the Contest 'Angel G. Piñero', Puerto de Santa María.
He has also toured as a soloist in Spain, Italy, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina and Uruguay.
