The Plenary Hall of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz hosted the awards ceremony of the gastronomic event 'Tapas in Caravaca', organized by the Association of Merchants and Hostelers of Caravaca (ACHC), with the collaboration of the Department of Commerce and support of Estrella Levante, Agua de Cantalar, Las Reñas, Son of JM Carrasco and Cola-Cola.
In this fifth edition, a score of local catering establishments participated.
By voting of the people who deposited the sealed cards in the adhered establishments, the winner of the 'Best Tapa' was 'El Horno / Dh Restaurante-Brasería', the 'Best Dessert' was for 'Todopán' and the best cocktail for 'Black and White' pub.
In addition, the eight prizes donated by the sponsors have been distributed among the people who made the route and has been delivered to the Association of Rare Diseases 'D'Genes' of the collection obtained with the activity 'Luces solidarias'.
The Councilor for Commerce, Gloria Gómez, along with the representatives of the Association of Merchants and Innkeepers of Caravaca (ACHC), María Ángeles Muñoz and Antonio Rodenas and the chef Firo Vázquez, have expressed high appreciation for the participation of the public in this activity, as well as the involvement of bars, restaurants, cafes and pubs to present each year more careful and innovative proposals.
