The popular councilman regrets that once again Caravaca de la Cruz appears to the tail of all Spain among the municipalities of more than 20,000 inhabitants that dedicate less to social services, according to a study prepared by the Association of Directors and Managers of Social Services with data of Ministry of Finance
Caravaca de la Cruz is once again in the queue of all of Spain among the municipalities that spend less money on social services, according to a report by the Association of Directors and Managers of Social Services.
This study analyzes the social investment of those municipalities with more than 20,000 inhabitants who have already sent the liquidation of their 2017 budgets to the Ministry of Finance.
"Has not the socialist government of Pepe Moreno had time to reverse this reality that is not new or simply that it has not had a will?" Asked Councilwoman Mónica Sánchez, who recalled that two years ago this report issued a very similar valuation on the Town Hall of Caravaca.
The average social expenditure per capita of Pepe Moreno's team stands at 20.91 euros, when the average is 44.60 euros.
"This local socialist government has money for what it wants, since the vast majority of social spending comes through state aid and above all through the regional government, which allocates eight out of ten euros to people in its 2019 budgets" , the popular councilor has argued.
"A socialist government is presupposed a political program focused on social protection, but at this point in the legislature we do not know who they intend to deceive." Mr. Moreno's Government has placed Caravaca on the list of shame with the worst data in investment social services ", concluded Mónica Sánchez
