Within the program of environmental activities promoted by the Association for the Defense of Nature 'Caralluma' in collaboration with the Department of Environment of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, has begun a new campaign for the conservation of Cernícalo Primilla.
The campaign will last until July 15, with initiatives such as days for the installation of nested tiles, adaptation of nests, cleaning and disinsection of lairs and banding.
The days have a conservationist, but also pedagogical and citizen awareness, approaching the population the scientific study of birds and the benefits they bring to agriculture and the environment in general.
On the first day, in addition to adapting the interior of several dozen tiles-nest of kennels installed in the colony of La Junquera, they visited agroecological activities, such as almond crops in contour lines, agricultural floors recovered, walls with bales of straw or the future primillar in cattle porch.
