Within the commemorative events of the 'International Women's Day', the II March for the Equality of Caravaca de la Cruz is celebrated on March 10, promoted by the Albávides Female Cábila Cultural Association, with the collaboration of the Department of Sports of the Caravaqueño City Council and of different sponsoring companies.
The inscriptions can now be formalized in 'Papiro' bookstore (Caravaca, Asturias street) and online at asuspuestos.com.
The Councilor for Sports, María José Soria, and the president of Cábila Almorávides Femenina, Mariola Álvarez, have called for participation, since it is a family activity, adapted to all ages and audiences.
"In addition to having a claiming character in favor of equal opportunities and rights between women and men, it has a solidarity aspect, since for the second year part of the money from each registration will go to the Association Against Domestic Violence of the Region of Murcia AVIDA ", said the mayor, who recalled that the first edition brought together more than 300 participants.
The march has three types of participation: March 'Children's parade' for children and adults (3 kilometers), March 'Festera' for children and adults (5 kilometers) and hiking and 'running' test (10 kilometers).
The starting point will be the La Corredera promenade, at 10 a.m., where, once the march is over, there will be entertainment activities, raffles and children's workshops.
The inscriptions have a cost of thirteen euros and six euros for children between the ages of three and twelve.
It includes supplies, medical assistance and civil liability insurance.
The collection of shirts and bibs will be on Saturday March 9, at the House of Culture 'Emilio Sáez', from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, upon presentation of proof of payment.
