The Secretary General of the caravaqueños socialists and Mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, Pepe Moreno, along with the Councilor for Social Services and Sports, Mª José Soria, have presented the 'Rosa Awards', whose delivery gala will be held on Friday , March 1 at 9 pm, at the Thuillier Theater.
Pepe Moreno stated that "We want to recognize those groups, associations, companies or people who carry out a work of social commitment with the progress of our municipality and help correct, in solidarity, the inequalities that may exist in it."
In this first edition the winners are the following:
Rosa Award for Social Commitment for the three local delegations of Caritas, for their tireless work to help the people and families who need it most.
Rosa Award for Social Commitment and Employment for Queen Desserts, for her excellent work of patronage in different areas and for contributing to socio-economic and employment development.
Rosa Award "Antonio García Martínez-Reina" posthumously to Mr. José Luís Lag and family, for the generosity demonstrated with people and groups of our municipality.
Similarly, there will be a recognition to current or former militants of the Caravaqueñas Socialist Youth for their support and dedication.
In this edition, he has gone to Juan Carlos Castillo Abril, current Local Secretary, for his untiring management at the head of it.
During the celebration there will also be a moment for recognition of the political commitment of militants and supporters of the Spanish Socialist Workers Party of Caravaca de la Cruz for their continued trajectory.
In this edition, the comrades who died during the last years will be honored.
Among other personalities will attend the event: Raúl Blanco, Secretary General of Industry and Small and Medium Enterprises of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, and the Government Delegate, Diego Conesa Alcaraz.
