A poorly prepared, improvised and opportunistic proposal |

The socialist spokesman, Enrique Fuentes believes that both the content and the date of the motion presented by the PP is an election proposal.

Likewise, it considers that there are errors in its content that invalidate it: They deny that the particular conditions of the family nucleus are considered when in 2018, for example, part of the water bill has been rewarded to 147 large families and many pensioners and people with disability with income below the minimum interprofessional salary;

also ignore the asphyxiating adjustment plan inherited, which is bound by the City of Caravaca because of the dire economic management of the PP.

In the aforementioned motion, they do not submit any report or proposal that would fit the aforementioned payment plan and propose discounts for large families of special category without taking into account their economic returns.

It is therefore a badly elaborated, improvised and opportunistic motion.

The Socialists, with our perspective and long social trajectory, we are in favor of the fair bonus on the part of the receipt of water from vulnerable families, because we understand that the public authorities are obliged to adopt the necessary measures to correct social inequalities .

Socialists propose that, in order to establish bonuses, the number of children is taken into account in all cases, but also, the income of large families so that this bonus is made in a much more just way.

For this reason, we proposed the rectification of the motion or, failing that, leave it on the table to present it jointly after gathering the reports and agreements that would serve to fit it into the municipal budget, and taking into account the income indicators to what Mr. García, local PP spokesman, opposed.

It has been, therefore, the stubbornness and the refusal of the PP to rectify and improve the motion, in a socially fairer sense, has prevented Caravaque families in need in greater increased bonuses in the receipt of water.
