The 'Gastronomic Society of Caravaca de la Cruz' celebrates its annual days on March 1 and 2 in Salones Pedro Marín with several proposals prepared by chef David Rizo, which will be based on products from the Northwest Region and other points of interest. the Region of Murcia.
The Councilor for Trade and Tourism in the Caravaqueño Consistory, Gloria Gómez, participated in the presentation of this event that is in its eighth edition, accompanied by the writer from Caravaca Luis Leante, special guest of this year, as well as by the president of that society, Marcos Ruiz and the hotelier Pedro Marín.
The conference will consist of a dinner on Friday, March 1, at 9:30 p.m., and a lunch on Saturday, March 2, at 2 p.m.

The 'Gastronomic Society of Caravaca de la Cruz' is driven by a score of people who meet monthly and organize, in collaboration with the Restaurant Pedro Marín, these annual days.
In its last edition they gathered more than 400 people and aim is to value the gastronomic products of the area, such as rice bomb, Murcian style, segureño lamb, cheeses or wines, among others related to the Mediterranean diet and the traditional recipes.
Leante encouraged the participation because they are 'a unique opportunity to discover the gastronomy of Caravaca and Murcia, one of the great gems of this land, which sometimes is not sufficiently known and must be consolidated as one of its main values. "
