A total of 400 athletes meet on Sunday, March 3, in the XIX edition of the 'Duathlon Caravaca de la Cruz', organized by the Department of Sports of the Caravaqueño Consistory, with the collaboration of the Triathlon Federation of the Region of Murcia (FTRM), being one of the scoring tests for the Regional League of Duathlon 2019.
Following the outline of its latest editions, the test will have the Plaza del Templete as the starting and finishing area.
The circuit of foot race will be round trip by Doctor Robles avenue, Camino del Huerto and Fuentes del Marqués and the cycling circuit, with drafting, will go towards Moratalla, with the double ascent by the 'Caracolico'.
The minor categories (prebenjamín, benjamín, alevín, infantil and cadete) will start from 10.00 to 11.00, while the absolute athletes will start at 12.00.
The trophies will be delivered progressively as the different categories cross the finish line.
The Duathlon Caravaca de la Cruz is a competitive test consolidated by its trajectory of almost two decades and its differentiating value with other competitions of these characteristics of the Region of Murcia, since it has more technical and demanding routes due to the mountainous profile of the municipality.
