The mayor, José Moreno, and the councilman responsible for the area of ​​Celebration, Óscar Martínez, have set out the objectives pursued by this initiative, which aims to make more participatory and inclusive the nights of the festivities, in addition to achieving other important objectives such as the improvement in safety and cleanliness, minimizing nocturnal noise and the neighbors' inconveniences caused by the dispersion of the so-called shelters through the urban area.
"It is a necessary and long-demanded action that materializes this year and that allows us to have an enclosure where to concentrate the nocturnal celebrations that take place during the patron festivities, with this we gain in festive conviviality, we gain in security and we also guarantee the right to rest of most of the neighbors, "said José Moreno.
As detailed by the councilman of Celebrations, the Caravaqueño Consistory has made an important effort to prepare this public space;
improving and creating accesses, providing lighting, paving, perimeter fencing, sanitary and storage modules, organic waste containers and recycling, as well as seven tents of between 100 and 300 square meters and five tents of 25 square meters.
The space, of about 5,000 square meters, is equipped with 24-hour surveillance and its operation has been included in the Emergency Plan of the patron saint's festivities.
To this first year of the Festive Site a total of 17 clubs from the Bands of the Wine Horses have joined, which will have their space reserve.
The Caravaqueño Consistory will subsidize 20% of the cost of each tent and the containers destined to these festive groups.
Musical performances in the festive venue
The main stage of the festive venue, located in Salones Castillo de la Cruz, will feature musical performances, programmed by the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, so that the nights of the festivities are more participatory, both for caravaqueños and for visitors
The live music of the last decades will be the soundtrack of these nocturnal events, in a commitment to variety as the main ingredient of this programming.
Admission will be free until full capacity is reached.

This is Esmeralda On Tour, composed of 15 artists on stage, with singers, dancers and musicians, who will give life to a spectacular assembly full of lighting, LED screens, innovative staging and a careful wardrobe that will remind any successful musical .
This concert will take place on May 4th.
But before that, on May 3, it will be the first live on the main stage of Salones Castillo de la Cruz, by the group Stolen, a combo of 10 excellent young musicians, with a national and international pop-rock repertoire, since the 70's by the 80's and 90's and to this day.
Great DJs from the regional scene will be responsible for the party to continue well into the early hours.
On May 3, Gazebo Dj and Andrés Honrubia are confirmed, one of the most versatile national DJs with the greatest international projection in the dance music of our country.
Finally, on May 4 will close the performances of the festive venue Anfri Dj.
