On the occasion of the festivities, the Department of Tourism of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz reinforces the information services to the visitor.
The Municipal Tourist Office, located on Las Monjas Street, and the Tourist Information Point of the Plaza del Arco will remain open to the public during the mornings and afternoons of April 30 and May 1 and the mornings of 2, 3, 4 and May 5th.
As for promotion, the councils of Celebrations and Tourism have spread the festivities of Moors, Christians and Horses of Wine in honor of the Santísima and Vera Cruz with the campaign 'Segways', which has moved to the holy weeks of Lorca and from Cartagena, to the Spring Festival of Murcia, to the Berber Raids of the Mar Menor in Los Alcázares and to the cities of Albacete and Alicante, distributing some 9,000 brochures with the official program of events.
In addition, the poster announcing the festivities has been installed and that of the UNESCO Horses of the Wine in 30 mupis distributed by different points of the Region of Murcia.
In order to reinforce the national and international promotion of the celebrations in media and the dissemination of the candidature of the Horses of Wine to Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, the City of Caravaca de la Cruz will facilitate the institutional signal live from the race on May 2 to arrive free of charge to all the television channels and digital media that are interested.
Likewise, there have been special events of the patron saint festivals in different written media and radio stations and a total of 6,000 service plans have been published, which include information on health care, parking areas, location of public urinals and telephones of interest, among other aspects, of which 1,500 copies have been distributed with the weekly 'El Noroeste' and the rest is in points of interest.
