The Museum of Ethnic Music of Barranda hosts today, Tuesday May 7, an international concert within the project 'Erasmus +' 'MusintegrACTION', which coordinates the Conservatory of Music of Murcia and in which, in addition, participate four music conservatories and three secondary schools in Germany, Spain, Italy and Portugal.
The concert, with free access, will start at 6:00 p.m.
The Conservatory of Music of Murcia promotes this international project that aims to contribute to the transformation of musical educational institutions to ensure their role as transmitters of European cultural heritage.
This project, with more than 180,000 euros of subsidy, was granted in July 2018 by the Spanish Erasmus Agency, being the fourth best by score.
The project includes, as partners, in addition to the Murcian conservatory, five other centers of Lisbon, Trento and Weimar: Secondary Education Institute "El Carmen" of Murcia, the Conservatory of music 'FA Bonporti' and the Istituto di Istruzioni delle Arti 'Vittoria , Bonporti, Depero 'of Trento (Italy), the Escola Música do Conservatório Nacional of Lisbon (Portugal), and the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt and Musikgymnasium Schloss Belvedere of Weimar (Germany).
The students who are part of this initiative 'Erasmus +' will star in a concert in which they will perform works by Bach, Telemann, Meyer, Carruli, Szervansky or Albinoni, among other outstanding composers of the history of music.
The 'MusintegrACCION' project directly involves mobility actions for approximately 80 teachers and 70 students.
Likewise, the project pursues the development of students with special emphasis on cultural awareness and expressions through the work of European cultural heritage elements, the adoption of methodological innovations by teachers, the development of specific competencies for the exercise of directive function, the introduction of changes in the institutional culture of the centers, as well as the improvement of the linguistic competence of both teachers and students.
Activities of the Professional Conservatory of Music of Caravaca
The Conservatory 'Leandro Martínez Romero' of Caravaca de la Cruz also celebrates today, Tuesday, May 7, at 19.30, an exchange with the Conservatory of Music 'Maestro Jaime Lopez' of Molina de Segura, which will take place at 19.30 , in the auditorium 'Manuel Montiel Guirado'.
On Wednesday, May 8, at 5:30 p.m., in the same assembly hall, a talk-concert will be held entitled 'Our Region', in which the Association for the Defense of Nature 'Caralluma' and the group of 'Animeros de Caravaca de la Cruz'.
