I have always thought that although the collectivity of citizens is more protagonist than individuals, taken one by one, however I am also one of those who believe that these individuals are often the ones who mark, also, the evolution of events.

I imagine that without being a person who has had a substantial role in local history, as did Pedro García-Esteller and a few others, it is no less true that every time I go out I find that many neighbors they question me to know how and why it occurred to me to appear, again after fifteen years, on lists for local elections;

I have to clarify that apart from many friends, and especially known, do not forget that I was born in this town, I have had, throughout my professional life, more than three thousand students of Caravaca in its broad sense, and want I'm not, shall we say, known in local environments.

I like that they stop me in the street and ask me what they see as convenient, but to answer those who do not, out of prudence or respect for a certain age that I have, but they also ask, I want to leave in writing the why of my reasons when it comes to appearing in municipal electoral lists.

Reasons that surely share some of the companions and old friends who appear in those lists, like Pepe Ferrer, Pedro Pozo or Paco Romero.

First, and principal, I love my land.

We are few, and privileged, "the caparroses" that we have been able to live in this town that so many have had to emigrate;

traditions, heritage, landscapes, they go with us, our hearts carry them, what Antonio Machado would say.

I remember how it depressed me to live a year in La Mancha, so flat, without our mountains, without our urban profile, as singular and internalized as a mother who embraces you.

I am not an overly sentimental type, although I do, I detest nationalism, but the love of the earth is something else;

It is natural and healthy, it is what we are, and it is not against anyone.

You know what you want when you do not have it.

Caravaca is our first surname, then there are the others.

Second.

I met José Francisco García as a student of mine, on some other occasion I have referred him, he seemed hard-working, serious and upright.

Over time, that first perception has only become larger, a lover of the family, a good friend of his friends and of anyone who wants to be, always willing to empathize with the problems of others, a defender of injustice, sensitive to traditional values that make us as a community and that range from ecology to material and immaterial heritage, manager as a professional of our own and the common.

I will not tire with qualifiers that could be made endless;

only one more, brave and lucid as few, has shown and continues.

Caravaca de la Cruz does not deserve less than a profile like that to represent it.

I am convinced that with a person of this character in the Caravaca City Hall, we caravaqueños recover the illusion in a future that is already here.

Third.

Four years lost.

Four years maintaining unsustainable slanders, proven as such by judicial sentences, four years justified in the reduction of a debt presented as real and that was no more than another proven imposture with truthful data.

They have tried to convince a people of their kindness based on the disqualification of others.

Pinocchio is not neutral when it comes to truth and lies.

The same thing has not been the result of that, say, experiment of those who, following the slogans of González Tovar, followed in several towns of the Region, and helped by local vigilantes, now silent, started a 'vendetta' against people, criminal, and unfortunately continued by D. José Moreno, who like all apology confessed, I do not know if he knew what he was saying, "he did not realize what he signed because he did not read it" (sic), referring to the topic of the asphalted street of the industrial estate.

Four years of which any decent person would like to turn the page.

Now that we have to vote for our next mayor, allow everyone, friends and acquaintances, all those who have treated me and know that I do not have many spots (some will be because I am human), or spurious interests, that I ask for the vote for José Francisco .

As the slogan of the local PP says, "It's not politics, it's Caravaca de la Cruz".

Whoever asks me why I go back to planting, I have no other answer than that given here, and if you want to simplify stay with me I really like the synthesis of St. Thomas on the value of "truth, unity and goodness that must preside over human acts ", besides, as the scorpion would say to the frog" goes in my nature ", I do not bite like the scorpion, but they do not shut me up.

That is all.

But, I insist, please believe me one more time and help change the state of things of this town, help us to have a future, that our children and we deserve, with hope and future prospects.

Let's get out of the same nothing.
