A total of 1,912 students from the schools and high schools of the municipality of Caravaca de la Cruz have participated during school year 2018/2019 in the Physical Activity and Sports Program School Age of the Region of Murcia.
The Department of Sports gave the local trophies in the House of Culture for each of the disciplines.
The students are part of competitions of Cross Country, Futsal, Volleyball, Basketball, Orienteering, Handball, Table Tennis, Athletics, Badminton, Multisport, Basketball, etcetera.
In addition, the adapted sport is integrated into the program.
In Caravaca, Apcom and Ascruz participate with more than a hundred people.
The School Sports program, apart from the competitive component, has mainly educational, educational and fun purposes.
The competitions are developed under the principles of equality, fair play, companionship and the rejection of violence.
