The 25 students of the 'Municipal School of Theater' close the course this Friday, May 31, with the staging of 'A day in the Museum'.
The closing will take place at the Thuillier Theater, at 9:00 pm, with free access until full capacity is reached.
The 'Municipal School of Theater' is part of the leisure and free time program promoted by the Youth Council of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz and develops throughout the school year in the facilities of the Youth Center.
Imparted by the caravaqueña, graduated in Dramatic Art, Lola Salcedo, the school has among its objectives to consolidate itself as a space of training and artistic creation, from which theatrical groups can emerge in the municipality.
In addition, enthusiasm for this branch of the performing arts is encouraged from an early age, which is a benefit for the personal and cultural development of minors.
The work that will be performed at the Thuillier will be based on the book 'Un día en Museo', by Mónica Rodríguez, author of numerous works of children's and young people's literature, with first class awards and recognitions, such as the Ala Delta, the Anaya award , the Alandar Prize and the Cuatrogatos Foundation Award, among others.
In 2017, she won several prizes awarded by young readers.
