The Club Rotary Murcia North organized a pilgrimage for the last section of the Greenway of the Northwest, within the project 'Sclerosis without limits' which aims to give visibility to this disease and promote the autonomy of people who suffer it.
Upon arrival in the city, they were received at the Plaza del Arco by the mayor, José Moreno, and the councilor of Social Services, María José Soria.
In Cehegín, where the march began, the pilgrims also received the welcome of their municipal representatives.
The project 'Sclerosis without limits' consists in enabling the realization of the Camino de Levante of Caravaca de la Cruz and Camino de Santiago to people with Multiple Sclerosis.
For this the Murcia North Rotary Club acquired and assigned to the Murcian Association of Multiple Sclerosis Patients (AMDEM) an adapted chair that allows to move safely along roads and sidewalks.
The pilgrimage to Caravaca de la Cruz has served as a contact for the completion of the Camino de Santiago, which will run for 10 days, completing 240 kilometers from the Portuguese city of Oporto.
