Representatives of five European educational centers in Portugal, Italy, Bulgaria, Lithuania and France are this week in Caravaca de la Cruz to close the project 'Erasmus + KA219', which have worked together with the public school Cervantes, with the development of skills through project work as a central theme.
The mayor, José Moreno;
the general director of Vocational Training and Special Education Teachings, Sergio López, and the councilor for Education and Youth, Ana Luisa Marcos, participated in the act of reception to the teaching staff, together with the students and teachers of Cervantes, who prepared different performances as Welcome to the city.
During the two courses of duration of the project, the centers involved have developed activities related to the change of methodology in the classrooms.
In particular, the Cervantes school has worked several projects, such as' Water, source of life, source of creation ',' The secret life of trees', 'Project Embarka.
A company in my school ',' The newspaper 'and' The legend of the Fuentes del Marqués', among others.
All project partners have launched initiatives related to trees and water and have visited the participating centers to exchange experiences related to the work theme and know their educational system, culture and traditions.
"The evaluation of the project 'Erasmus + KA219' is highly positive, since, in addition to the skills acquired on the methodology of work by projects, this experience has served to enhance the European dimension in students," as highlighted by the Cervantes school.
Tomorrow, Wednesday June 5, within the program of activities on the occasion of the visit of the European faculty to Caravaca de la Cruz, will be held at the Thuillier Theater a Short Film Festival prepared by the students, teachers and families of our center.
