With six nights of live music and a total of twelve formations on the different outdoor stages, a new edition of the 'Vaca Pop', with free access concerts, arrives.
The festival was presented at Plaza Carrilero by the mayor of Caravaca della Cruz, José Moreno, and the Councilor for Culture and Celebrations, Óscar Martínez, together with the representatives of the 'Vaca Pop' Association, Bryn Slack and Mateo Martí.
The concerts begin this weekend within the program of the International Encounter Festival of Jute Arts of Caravaca de la Cruz.
The first one will take place this Friday, June 7, at 10.00 pm, on Calle Mayor, with 'The Troupers Swing Band', an Alicante band that reinterprets the great classics of swing and rockabilly.
On Saturday, June 8, at Pub 'La Nota', at 23.45, it will be the turn of 'Bourbon Rockers' and 'Ajeeb'.
The schedule for this weekend will be closed on Sunday, June 9, at 9:00 pm, with 'Tangerine Flavor'.
The poster of the 'Vaca Pop' will resume with the 'Rock Fest', in which the bands 'Moody Sake', 'Copper Age' and 'Adjustment of Accounts' will participate.
The three direct will have the Plaza José Carrilero as a stage and will be held on Friday, June 14, starting at 22.30.
On the following day, on Saturday, June 15, the 'indie' music will center the style of the three concerts scheduled at the Plaza del Arco, starting at 22.30.
The performances will be in charge of 'Ayoho', 'Veintiuno' and 'Siloé'.
The closing of the seventh edition of the 'Vaca Pop' festival will have a gold brooch with a great symphonic rock concert, in which the orchestra of the Professional Conservatory of Music 'Leandro Martínez Romero' from Caravaca will participate, together with different guest artists.
In the Plaza del Templete, from 8.30 pm, versions of mythical bands will sound like 'Queen', 'Pink Floyd', 'Prince', 'Led Zeppeling' or David Bowie, among others.
To dismiss the edition until next year will act 'The clan of the bats', with its tribute to one of the great Murcia groups, 'MClan'.
The 'Vaca Pop' concerts are organized by the association that bears the name of this festival and the Caravaca de la Cruz City Council.
It counts among its sponsors with Reina and Estrella Levante Desserts and with the support of different local companies.
