The IES GINÉS PÉREZ CHIRINOS of Caravaca de la Cruz has increased its educational offer with the incorporation of a new Higher Level Training Cycle, the Teaching and Sociodeportive Animation Course, for the new 2019/2020 academic year.
Undoubtedly, the offer of this new Training Cycle is great news for the educational center, as well as for all the Northwest Murcia, since it makes possible its study to all those students who, in the center itself, have been trained in the Cycle Medium Degree Training Course of Physical-Sports Activities in the Natural Environment (giving continuity to their studies), as well as to all those interested in the Professional Family of Physical and Sports Activities, without having to travel to any other municipality in the Region of Murcia.
In this way, the educational offer of the IES GINÉS PÉREZ CHIRINOS, is reaffirmed as the widest of the northwest of Murcia, with seven professional families and fourteen training cycles.
The IES GINÉS PÉREZ CHIRINOS, in correspondence with its public function, has always been characterized by offering an educational response adjusted to the needs, interests and socio-economic characteristics of the municipality of Caravaca de la Cruz and surroundings, always innovating in the teaching methodologies put into practice and incorporating new forms of education, as is the case of the dual modality of Vocational Training, already present in the Middle Degree of Footwear and Fashion Complements (unique in the Region of Murcia and started in this center in the course 2017/2018 ) and, now, in the Higher Level Training Cycle of Socio-sporting Education and Animation.
The dual modality of these cycles offers the possibility for students to combine the teaching and learning processes in the company and in the institute, taking place in alternating regime, with a number of hours or days of stay of variable duration between the center of work and in the educational center.
It is, in short, a modality that offers them the possibility of receiving a remuneration to the students for the Training in Work Centers (80% of the IPREM), while they are being trained in a training cycle of their interest and with high rates of employability.
The IES GINÉS PÉREZ CHIRINOS is very satisfied with the incorporation of this new Higher Level Training Cycle, as well as with the confirmation, by the General Directorate of Educational Planning and Human Resources, of a fifth line for 1st of ESO , for what we have, for the next academic year 2019/2020, with five groups of First of ESO.
In this way, the IES GINÉS PÉREZ CHIRINOS is positioned as the center with the largest number of students who begin their studies of Compulsory Secondary Education, of the entire municipality of Caravaca de la Cruz, completing them with the educational stages of Baccalaureate and Vocational Training , also present in the educational center.
