After the new Municipal Corporation was constituted, the mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Francisco García, accompanied by the spokespersons of the municipal groups of Citizens and the Popular Party, José Carlos Gómez and José Santiago Villa, respectively, have announced the composition of the new government team, which is made up of a majority of eleven councilors.

Caravaca de la Cruz faces for the first time a mandate with a coalition government.
