The municipalities of Caravaca de la Cruz, Cehegín and Bullas, through their respective youth councils, train twenty young people to obtain the official degree of 'Leisure and Leisure Time Monitor'.
The objective of this joint project is to provide the students with the necessary resources to direct socio-cultural and recreational activities, both in the urban environment and in the natural environment.
In this way, as has been detailed by the mayor of Caravaqueña Youth, "an official qualification is provided in the field of non-formal education, which opens up new professional opportunities."
The course is developed in intensive format to take advantage of the vacation period.
The young people will complete a total of 250 hours of training, of which 90 will be practical in the activities of animation and free time that are programmed in the different municipalities, such as the camps or municipal summer schools.
In order to facilitate access to this training, the Youth Councils of Caravaca, Cehegín and Bullas have financed their registration, reducing the usual cost of the course to half the amount
