The departments of Public Services and Traffic ask for citizen collaboration to perform actions that require clearing of vehicles on public roads
The City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz starts from next week a special cleaning plan both in the town center and in the districts.
This was announced by the mayor, José Francisco García, after the last coordination meeting held with those responsible for the service and the Public Services, Maintenance and Traffic areas.
"In the first two months at the helm of the City Council we have worked on fundamental aspects that the caravaqueños have been demanding in a very generalized way, such as the improvement of cleanliness, the care of gardens and horizontal signage. With the implication of all we can move towards a cleaner, more careful and more civic Caravaca. This is a priority of the municipal government, but citizen collaboration is a key piece, "said José Francisco García, who thanked" the involvement of the service concession company 'Urban Environment ', as well as the municipal Maintenance and Traffic areas to work during this summer on this plan that now, with the beginning of the course, sees the light. For her part, the councilor who directs the Public Services area, Mónica Sánchez, has indicated that the crash plan "will be carried out for about a month and a half, a period of time during which regular cleaning work will be combined with the extraordinary work The action plan divides the urban area into 23 sectors, plus the 14 districts and urbanizations. In order to undertake this action, both the staff and the machinery of the municipal cleaning service are reinforced.
The device will have four workers exclusively for carrying out the tasks included in this crash plan.
The work to be done consists of intensive cleaning of the public thoroughfare, with the removal of signage from unauthorized areas;
removal of graffiti in public buildings;
cleaning of sidewalks, roads and containers, among other actions.
Likewise, special technical means will be available, such as a 'gum remover' machine for the disposal of these wastes on sidewalks and roads;
sweeper machine for cleaning and waste collection in vials and high pressure flusher.
The Local Police is also part of the operation of the special cleaning plan, with the signaling, at least 48 hours in advance, of the different areas of action.
The collaboration of the owners of vehicles that park on public roads is essential to perform some of the planned work, since car clearance is required, which will be communicated in advance by placing information discs and will only affect one morning by zone.
The work will begin at 7 am and will end around 1 pm, with the double objective of causing the least discomfort to the neighbors and attending, as quickly and efficiently as possible, their demand for a cleaner municipality, with a Better a maintenance.
In all districts a day will be dedicated, except in Barranda and Archivel where two days will be allocated.
