The City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz has created the advisory table for holding the elections to the pedneous mayor, which will take place next Sunday, September 22, in Archivel.
The table has been set up in accordance with the procedure approved by all political groups in the last Plenary and in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Regulation of Citizen Participation of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz.
The table will be set up at 9.00 on September 22, consisting of three public employees who will serve as president, secretary and vocal.
The more than one thousand censored neighbors of the village of Archivel are called to vote at the Social Center of that district, from 10 am to 2 pm, to choose between the two candidates who have attended the process.
The mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Francisco García, has sent a written communication to all the homes of the district, calling for participation and stressing that "for the first time in democratic history, residents can freely choose your closest representative. From Caravaca City Council we have promoted a participatory process, giving voice and vote to citizens and all those who have wanted or been able to participate in this process, registering during the deadline for submitting applications. "
José Francisco García remarks that "it is an important event, a democratic holiday and reaffirmation of citizen rights that must be encouraged. That is why I encourage you to participate in the elections and defend your interests."
The process to carry out this consultation began at the beginning of August, publicized in time and form by all channels within the reach of this town hall, through the issuance of a City Council and its publication on the bulletin board, municipal website, Media and social networks.
It was also the will of the Government team to put on the table and discuss the procedure to be followed in the first ordinary Plenary of the current mandate, with the favorable vote of the entire Corporation.
The Archivel is the only district where more than one candidate attends.

Independent), Francisco Javier López (Archivel. Government Team), Antonia Martínez Robles (Navares. Independent), Luis Moya Sánchez (La Encarnación. Government Team), María Teresa Salcedo Salceldo (Benablón. Government Team), Alberto López de la Cerda (Los Prados. Government Team), Juana Pérez Sánchez (La Almudema. Government Team), José Antonio Gallardo Robles (Pinilla. Government Team), Juan Cisterne Navarro (Caneja. Government Team), Ana Gallardo Moreno (El Moral and El Hornico. Government Team), José Marín Salcedo (Singla Government Team), Luis Pérez Castillo (El Moralejo. Government Team) and María Trinidad Pérez Romera (Los Royos. Government Team).
The presentation of candidacies was open to all persons of legal age, residents of the district, and those who hold a public office cannot be.
